PROCESS: THE AXIOM BODYSUIT

The Axiom Bodysuit is an experiment in destruction and repair; an organically designed garment that moves and breathes with the wearer. Premised on the Aether Bodysuit from our very first collection, this piece was created by carving flame-shaped panels from a solid garment akin to the original and then lacing them back into shape by hand using torn strips of silk; edges left wispy and raw. The result is at once indestructible and delicate, and will come to life in accordance with the shape of the body that dons it. Impossible to reproduce identically, each iteration of this piece is a unique interpretation of the sample and a true pleasure to create.
